Mary and Jane were the lovers in the sun.
The more they met the brighter was the light.
It was too much to swallow for those
Who could only dream about their warmth.
Jealousy filled the garden with the lying frogs
And rumors trod down their smiling rose.
When everything was ruined except the bodies
They rowed the boat behind the golden horizon
And they went down for ever with the blessing sun.

Lovers in the Sun
I drew this picture, Lovers in the Sun, in 2002. It was black and white but I added colors using Gimp 2.6 software and different filters in May 2015.
